McLoughlin’s, a historic pub on Achill Island, is looking for a new owner – preferably someone who shares its name, according to Heineken Ireland.
Established in 1870, the fourth-generation family pub has been a fixture of the local community for over 150 years.
Heineken Ireland reported that current owner Josie McLoughlin and his partner Jackie are retiring after decades of running the business.
They hope to pass it on to another McLoughlin to maintain the family tradition.
