Madrí Excepcional, the Mediterranean style lager, is bringing ‘El Alma de Madrid’ or the soul of Madrid to Clancy’s Cork on 4 May and remaining for a month-long experience.
Fusing the cultural energies of Madrid and Cork via food and music, Madrí Excepcional will curate a free and exciting event for Corkonians for the month of May.
Madrí Excepcional is a progressive take on traditional Spanish lager. From the delicious food and drink to the electrifying music, the one-off event aims to bring the culture of Madrid to the heart of Cork City. Entry to the event is free, and all visitors need to do is turn up.
Visitors can enjoy live music on the 4, 5 and 6 May from ‘Bazza’ from 7pm each evening. The month-long activity will see visitors to Clancy’s Cork immersed in the sounds of Madrid, as well as the tastes of Madrid with Madrí Excepcional-inspired dishes.
Think mouth-watering Spanish style tapas to delicious burgers. The exclusive menu will be available for the entire month of May, so even those who can’t make the event on the 4 May can enjoy a taste of Madrid when they visit Clancy’s Cork.
Sophie Mitchell, senior brand manager at Madrí Excepcional said: “Madrí Excepcional was born through a collaboration with Molson Coors and La Sagra brewery, combining our brewing experience. We’re excited to bring this collaborative spirit to Cork this month as we create a fusion of cultures at Madrí Excepcional X Clancy’s Cork, with an exceptional line up of musicians and a collaborated menu. We’re excited to showcase the very best of both cities, as we bring the soul of Madrid to Cork.”
“We are delighted to be hosting this immersive culture clash with Madrí Excepcional, bringing Madrid to the people of Cork,” said Paul Montgomery, owner of Clancy’s Cork. “We believe it’s important to bring these unique experiences into the heart of the city and are delighted to be able to collaborate with Madrí Excepcional for the month of May.”
