Limited Edition 38 Red Ale launches
Red Ale’s Limited Edition #38 is a red ale with a healthy dose of American hops.

Expect aroma of tropical and citrus fruits from hops, with caramel malt aromas from the barley
Rooted in centuries of Irish brewing tradition, Red Ale takes its colour from kilned malts and roasted barley.
Although traditionally a malt-forward style, we have chosen a more modern version, with the addition of American hops.
It’s a beer built on depth, warmth, and drinkability.
It pours a pleasing, deep ruby colour, with an aroma of tropical and citrus fruits from El Dorado and Citra in the dry hop.
Beneath the hops sit caramel malt aromas; the flavour, too, is an interplay of caramel and toast flavours from the several different dark malts in the recipe, backed up by a robust bitterness and finishing with fruity flavours such as pineapple, grapefruit and watermelon.
At 7% ABV, a slight alcohol warmth lingers on the palate.

This red ale will pair very well with grilled or BBQ meats and pulled pork.
