All competitors had to serve up their own creative twist on a traditional Pina Colada and seven bartenders made it through to the final where they were given access to a pantry containing all sorts of fruits, vegetables, juices, liqueurs, spirits and Re’al Infused Syrups.
Apart from presenting Kevin with his top prize for his ‘Factor Fifty’, the Brand Manager Northern Europe for American Beverage Marketers Steve Dingley and the Brand Ambassador for Richmond Marketing Deirdre Byrne presented prizes to a number of the other competitors.
Eddie Rudzinskas from Monaghan’s Four Seasons Hotel won Best Tiki Cocktail (Round 2) and Eoin O’Neill from the The Reg in Waterford won Best Twisted Pina Colada (Round 1).
