The theme of this year’s Masterclass is the diversity of  New Zealand white wine styles.

This year’s Kiwi wine campaign theme, ‘Pour Yourself a Glass of New Zealand’, comes at a time when New Zealand’s top three exported white wine varieties are internationally celebrated during May with International Sauvignon Blanc Day (the 6th of May), International Pinot Gris Day (the 17th of May) and International Chardonnay Day (the 26th of May).

The Dublin Masterclass at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Golden Lane on May the 9th will be presented by John Wilson, Wine Correspondent with the Irish Times and starts at 13:00. The Trade Tasting runs from 2.00 – 6.00pm with a consumer tasting following at the same venue from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Places on the Masterclass are now booking and are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

Over 100 New Zealand wines are available to taste at this year’s event.

New Zealand wine exports for 2021 were $1.95 billion, down just 3% on 2020 despite the 19% fall in production from the 2021 harvest, reflecting the rising value of New Zealand wines.
