IDL Pernod Ricard’s new Production Director

Tommy Keane, who’s worked as General Manager of Midleton Distillery in County Cork since 2006, has been made Production Director at IDL Pernod Ricard.

Tommy increased production there from 19 million litres of alcohol to 64 mla and successfully led the design and project management teams involved in the recent €110m distillery expansion during his time as General Manager.

He also successfully sourced and negotiated the purchase of the 70-hectare maturation site in Dungourney.

In his new role, he’ll head up the Production Division which includes Distillation, Maturation, Bottling, Supply Chain and Central Laboratories.

Tommy’s held a number of Engineering and Project Management roles across the Production division since joining the company in 1985 and succeeds Peter Morehead who was appointed Group Operations Director at Pernod Ricard earlier this year.
