Global Heineken lager sales up 7.7%

Heineken nv posted a 6.1% increase in organic net sales to €22.47 billion in its full year results for 2018, with growth in all regions pushing volumes up 4.2%.

Europe witnessed a 3% climb in organic revenues and 1.3% beer volume growth.

Operating Profits at the brewer also rose by 6.4% organically.

Sales of Heineken lager were up 7.7%, “its strongest performance in more than a decade” according to the results which indicate that European sales volumes were up 5.1%.
