WineOnline.ie is hosting the Rioja Wine Festival at The Davenport Hotel, Dublin, on 21 October 2023.

With two sessions from 1 pm to 4 pm and 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm, attendees can savour over 150 wines, including selections from Rioja’s top estates and other regions in the new Discovery Zone.

This zone features 40 wines from regions like Rias Biaxas, Rueda, Ribero del Duero, and Penedés. Each participant receives a complimentary tote bag, tasting booklet, and glass. The event includes cheese and charcuterie boards by the hotel’s executive chef. Additionally, wine enthusiasts can join masterclasses by John Wilson and Fergal Tynan, offering insights into Rioja’s uniqueness and exploring Grenache grape varieties.

Will Mullin, director, WineOnline.ie, said “We’re excited to showcase some really interesting wineries and share stories from  how they toil the soil and make some of the finest wines in the world. We believe the addition of the Discovery Zone at this year’s festival will add an even bigger variety of wines for people to enjoy and explore”
