Event diary update for May/ June
Plenty of events are planned for the weeks ahead
As summer arrives, the trade is as busy as ever with portfolio tastings and generic events. Here are some of the scheduled events for the coming weeks.
Moldovan Wine Fair – 24 May
Twenty producers are travelling to Dublin to showcase their wines to a target audience that includes importing companies, supermarket buyers, off licences, restaurants, sommeliers, and the wine press.
Venue: Camden Court Hotel. Camden Street, Dublin 2. Participating Wineries:
Participating Wineries: Alianta-Vin, Aroma, Asconi Winery, Carlevana Winery, Castel Mimi, Chateau Purcari, Chateau Vartely, Domeniu la Prut, Denovi Group and Radacini Wines.
The programme for the day is as follows:
11:30 – 12:30 Moldovan Masterclass with Perascova Ignat Wine of Moldova

13:00 – 17:30 Moldovan Trade Wine Fair
18:30 – 20:30 Moldovan Consumer Wine Fair

Wine Cru Tasting – 29 May
Three terrific importers are joining forces to show their wines at a portfolio tasting on Monday 29 May, 2023 in the Ballroom in Fallon & Byrne.
A selection of wines imported by Solera Wine Merchants, Celtic Whiskey/Wines on the Green and MacCormaics will be available to taste. With over 100 wines on show, make sure you put the date in your diary.
Radici x Al Fèu 1915 “Business Supper Club” – 13 June
The Business Supper Club is a trade event organized by “Radici – Italian Wines” the idea is to introduce an Italian wine producer who will present his wines matched with a seasonal menu featuring food styles from the regions.
Taking place at Fusciardi’s of Capel street in Dublin, the Business Supper Club will feature Sicilian winery “Al Fèu 1915” during which the producer Michele Castiglione will introduce his wines.
