Dropping Well increases profits

Profits at Millton Inns showed an 8.6% rise in profits in the year to the 31st May 2016 according to the abridged set of accounts lodged with the Companies Office.

Profits at Millton Inns, holding company for Charlie Chawke’s Dropping Well pub in Milltown, showed an 8.6% rise in profits to €3.38 million in the year to the 31st May 2016 from €3.31 million the previous year according to the abridged set of accounts lodged with the Companies Office. As of 31st May 2016 the company’s accumulated cash stood at €634,715, up from the previous year’s €488,755 figure. Staff numbers at the pub remained steady at 59 but staff costs fell from €1.597 million to €1.576 million.

At the same time Directors Charlie and Bernice Chawke’s remuneration fell by one-third from €54,118 to €35,817.
