Charles Ireland leaving Diageo

Diageo Plc has announced changes to its senior leadership in its GB and Global Travel businesses.

Charles Ireland, Managing Director for GB, Ireland and France since 2016, will leave Diageo at the end of next month after more than 20 years with the company to pursue opportunities outside the business. Dayalan Nayager, currently Managing Director for Global Travel, will replace him, reporting to John Kennedy, President, Diageo Europe, Turkey and India.  Eduardo Barp, currently General Manager of Caribbean & Central America, will take up Dayalan’s position, reporting into Alberto Gavazzi, President, Diageo Latin America and Caribbean, Global Travel and Sales. Both roles will commence on 1st January 2019.
