This device, developed in response to Covid-19, can be fitted easily in about five minutes and allows the user to pass through the door without touching the handles by opening it with the sole of the shoe instead. Additionally, by using the sole greater traction is created and stability is retained versus devices that utilise the toe to open, claims Ceco.

With its unique latch-stop the Paw can be used with latching and non-latching doors.

Manufactured from stainless steel, the product comes with a lifetime warranty. All fitting hardware and instructions are supplied with the unit.

Paw openers are currently being fitted throughout Ireland in everything from offices and garages to hospitality and educational facilities.

The hands-free door openers will aid the various stages of exiting lockdown by helping to reduce possible transmission of germs, bacteria, coronaviruses etc.

It’s suitable for use in many settings such as bars, hotels, restaurants, shops, offices, educational facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, factories, and warehouses.
