Best ‘Brocktail’ call

The trip of a lifetime to Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans this Summer is in the offing for the winner of this year’s Brockmans Gin cocktail competition.

Brockmans is inviting bartenders from the around the world to enter their best Brockmans Gin cocktail in the professionals-only competition to find the best ‘Brocktail’ for World Gin Day (9th June 2018).

The professionals-only competition to find the best ‘Brocktail’ for World Gin Day (9th of June 2018) opens on the 30th of April and all entrants, who must work in the on-trade, are invited to submit an original cocktail recipe, an image and the name of their ‘Brocktail’, plus contact details via an online form at http://www.brockmansgin.com/.

Inspiration needs to strike before 11.59pm BST on the 31st of May 2018, the closing date for submissions.

The aim is to secure the most public votes from friends, fans or customers during the voting period which runs for just over a week from 12 noon BST on the 1st of June to 5pm BST on World Gin Day, the 9th of June. Voting is entirely down to members of the public and the results will be revealed at 6pm BST on the 9th of June via the brand’s social media platforms and website.

Voters can vote daily so supporters have plenty of chances to show their appreciation for their favourite bar’s cocktail. All voters will also go into the daily draw for a bottle of Brockmans.

The winner and two other finalists will embark on a trip to Tales of The Cocktail in New Orleans each with a guest during the week of 17th-22nd July.

The prize includes flights, three nights’ accommodation, two nights at Tales of the Cocktail and dinner with the Brockmans Gin team.

In addition, bartenders entering the main competition are eligible for a prize draw to win Brockmans branded bar-tool rolls. To add to the competition, bartenders nominating colleagues to enter can increase their chances of winning.

Full competition rules will be published on the brand website in April.
