April 19th for Argentine Wine Fair
Argentinian wines are becoming a more significant player on the Irish market with sales of 196,000 cases here in 2015. As people take more of an interest, Argentinian wine growers will be seeking to expand their 2.3% foothold on the Irish wine market beginning with this year’s wine fair in Dublin, their fifth, which coincides with MalbecWorld Day.
In addition to wines from the Malbec grape, there’ll also be many other Argentine wine styles available.
Created by Wines of Argentina with the theme ‘Malbec the heart of Argentina’ hundreds of events will take place all over the world on Malbec World Day. The festivities include wine fairs for press and trade, tastings and promotions in wine shops and restaurants.
This year in Ireland the Trade & Press Tasting takes place in the Charlemont Suite at the Hilton (Dublin) Hotel, Charlemont Place, Dublin 2 from 12:00 – 18:00. Eleven of the participating Argentine wineries are seeking representation.
