4 winning SuperValus
The 26th annual Edward Dillon & Santa Rita Estates SuperValu Off-Licence of the Year Awards took place recently in the Galway Bay Hotel. The gala event was hosted by RTÉ’s Shay Byrne.
Four SuperValu stores won the top awards at the gala event attended by finalist stores from across the country.
The winners were:
- SuperValu Off Licence of the Year Overall Winner: Garvey’s SuperValu Dingle
- Large Store SuperValu Off Licence of the Year Winner: Ryan’s SuperValu Glanmire
- Medium Store SuperValu Off Licence of the Year Winner: Quish’s SuperValu Tramore
- Small Store SuperValu Off Licence of the Year Winner: Pettitt’s SuperValu The Quay, Wexford
Each of the winners was presented with their award by Edward Dillon’s Chief Executive Andy O’Hara and the Category Manager at Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland Donagh McClafferty along with Tom Gaskin from Santa Rita Estates. The finalist stores were judged by Rodney Trenwith and were marked on a range of criteria including overall appearance, innovation and customer service.
The winners will enjoy an exclusive trip to Cape Town, South Africa.
