Zazu – enhancing social life

A new dining reservation system from a mobile joined a growing number of such systems when the free Zazu App went live in Dublin recently.

It allows consumers book into a restaurant, bar or nightclub in just a few taps.

Consumers can download the free App for android or Apple via their App Store and create a profile. They can search by list or interactive map for local eateries, pubs and clubs, choose where they’d like to go and a few taps later, their reservation will be confirmed by the venue directly.

Launched to a customer database of 150,000 on the ZazuEnts.com website, downloads have already topped 1,000.

Zazu has signed up 30 merchants around Dublin, including the Press Up Group, House, Angelina’s and The Exchequer with more being added daily.

Zazu will be rolled out in Cork, Limerick and Galway in early 2018 before expanding overseas to the UK, Spain and Dubai initially.

Zazu integrates into the venue’s existing booking system and can easily update profile information on both website and App, quickly highlighting special offers, attracting new customers and increasing footfall at key times, claims the company. Both the venue and the customer can rate the experience, building loyalty. In-App payment options are in place for some venues, with further venues opting-in daily.

Supported by Social Media, Zazu’s reach is wide and influential, with engagement in the millions.  Conceived and created by Ivano Caffolla, it was inspired by his 18 years in the entertainment industry as a DJ, promoter, marketeer and venue-owner.

“Zazu is getting great feedback from both the users and the venues,” he claimed.
