Turnover up at McKillen’s holding company
Wintergreen, which saw pre-tax profits up 41% to €15.2 million from €10.8 million the previous year, is a significant part of the structure that includes the Press Up Entertainment Group.
Wintergreen has around 30 property, pub and hotel companies controlled by Paddy McKillen and has valued its fixed assets at €77.8m in its statement of accounts lodged with the Companies Office.
Payroll costs for the 709 staff employed by Wintergreen (including that of the directors and the 604 operational staff, 70 management staff and 35 administrative staff) were up by 15% to nearly €16 million from just under €14 million the previous year, but generated Operating Profits of €12.6 million, up 67% from the previous year’s €7.5 million figure.
