The Imperial Hotel in Cork invites guests into Narnia with a Fire and Ice package, Narnia Afternoon Tea, new cocktails, ‘Escape to Narnia’ spa treatments, and exclusive Narnia prints. Aslan the Lion and the White Witch may make appearances.

The hotel’s winter decor transforms the entrance into a snowy landscape, featuring Narnia references like the ice queen’s throne and a vintage wardrobe scene. The lobby boasts icicles, snow, and Christmas trees, creating a magical winter woodland ambiance. The traditional train set, decorated by the pastry team, includes famous Narnia characters, delighting younger guests.

The Imperial Hotel offers a Narnia-themed afternoon tea with an ‘Always Winter, Never Christmas’ cocktail. The menu includes savoury items like Cork spiced beef and smoked salmon, finger sandwiches, and scones. Sweet treats pay homage to Chronicles of Narnia books, featuring desserts like ‘Candle in the Dark’ and ‘Edmond’s Delight.’ This unique afternoon tea is included in the Narnia package stay or can be booked separately for €49 per person, with a non-alcoholic version available on request.

The Fire and Ice package offers a pre-Christmas or New Year stay, including an overnight stay with a la carte breakfast, a Narnia-themed afternoon tea, and treats in your room such as an exclusively designed Narnia print and a chocolate bar from O’ Connaills. The package starts from €154 per person.

Guests can also enjoy themed cocktails like Tequila Turkish Delight, The Ice Queen, Aslan’s Roar, The White Witch’s Spell, and The Great Lion at Sketch and No. 76 within the hotel. The in-house cocktail experts have carefully crafted these new additions.

Additionally, the Escape Spa offers the ‘Escape to Narnia’ treatment package, featuring a 1-hour thermal suite session and a 50-minute fire and ice geothermal massage. Priced at €150 midweek or €160 over the weekend, this spa treatment focuses on stress reduction, deep relaxation, and relief from physical pain.
