The Exchange launches new “Curtain Call” menu

A perfectly timed dining experience in the heart of Dublin’s cultural quarter

Just steps from the Olympia Theatre, Vicar Street, comedy clubs and some of Dublin’s most vibrant live performance venues, The Exchange Bar & Restaurant at NYX Hotel Dublin Christchurch is setting the stage for the perfect night out with the launch of its new “Curtain Call” pre-theatre dining menu.

Designed for guests heading to an evening show, the Curtain Call menu offers a stylish yet efficient dining experience that ensures theatre-goers can enjoy a relaxed meal without missing the opening act.

Available daily and served promptly, the menu offers two courses for €39 or three courses for €47, with a final sitting at 6:30 pm, ideal timing for catching a curtain call nearby.

Located on the edge of Temple Bar beside Christchurch Cathedral, The Exchange has quickly become a lively hub for locals and visitors alike.

With its vibrant interiors, buzzing bar and creative cuisine, it offers the perfect meeting point before a night of music, theatre, comedy or live performance.

The new menu showcases bold flavours, comforting classics and quality Irish ingredients, thoughtfully curated by head chef Stuart Heeney and his team to deliver maximum flavour with seamless service.

Guests can begin with tempting starters such as Irish Three Cheese Croquettes, made with cheddar, smoked cheddar and Gubbeen, served with stout onion jam and parsley aioli.

The Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wings arrive with Cashel Blue and crème fraîche dip and pickled celery, while a classic Prawn Cocktail featuring Irish prawns, Marie Rose sauce and soda bread offers a nostalgic favourite with a refined touch.

For mains, hearty and satisfying dishes ensure diners are well fuelled before the evening’s entertainment.

The Beer Battered Atlantic Cod & Chips pairs golden crisp fish with wasabi tartare, pea and watercress purée and grilled lemon, while the Grilled Irish Beef Burger comes stacked with American cheddar, crispy bacon, stout-glazed onions and mustard mayonnaise.

Plant-based diners can enjoy the Beyond Meat Vegan Burger with vegan cheddar and stout-glazed onions, while the BBQ Rotisserie Half Chicken delivers smoky comfort served with grilled corn, fries and honey mustard dressing.

To close the show, dessert options bring a sweet finale.

Warm Mini Apple Doughnuts are served with brandy custard, vanilla ice cream and toasted almonds, while the Wexford Strawberry Pavlova celebrates Irish produce with vanilla cream and strawberry jam.

A classic Ice Cream and Sorbet selection offers a lighter ending.
