Tastin’ France, Ireland’s premier trade event dedicated to French wines, returns to Dublin on Tuesday, 22 October 2024, offering an exclusive opportunity to explore the very best of French wine.
This year, the event introduces an exciting new element: the French Champion Awards, honouring Irish wine professionals who have played a key role in promoting and selling French wines across the country.
Registrations are now open here.
Hosted at the Smock Alley Theatre, the event will feature 20 French wine producers and more than 20 AOCs, providing buyers, importers, distributors, and sommeliers a unique opportunity to taste an array of French wines.
With world-class sommelier Julie Dupouy leading three curated wine walks, attendees will have the chance to delve deeper into the stories behind some of France’s finest wine regions.
The French Champion Awards, kicking off at 1pm, will recognise outstanding contributions in four categories:
- Best Importer
- Best Supermarket
- Best Indie Retailer
- Best Restaurant for France
Nominations are now open here, with the winners to be chosen by a panel of Business France judges and industry experts.
“We’re excited to introduce these awards, recognising the incredible relationships between French winemakers and the Irish trade,” said Claire Prothon-Mackintosh of Business France.
