Study reveals 50% of Irish diners plan to visit more restaurants in January 2024

The study commissioned by OpenTable also shows that 51% of diners are considering Veganuary

OpenTable, an online restaurant-reservation service, revealed key insights into Irish diners’ preferences for the beginning of 2024

The study revealed that 50% of Irish diners plan to visit more restaurants in January 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.

Embracing dietary shifts, 51% of diners will consider going vegan or vegetarian as part of ‘Veganuary’ or a healthier diet in 2024. Additionally, 35% of Irish diners plan on spending a little more this January compared to January 2023, with an average of €59 per person, per meal, this month.
