Sky freezes pricing

Sky Sport is holding its prices for pubs & clubs (until the end of June next year) for the fourth time in five years.

Coupled with this announcement, Sky highlighted its Summer sports schedule which includes 20 live GAA matches, Euro 2016 Qualifiers, Republic of Ireland vs Scotland live, Ireland’s 2015 Rugby World Cup warm-up matches, coverage of the Ashes and every Formula 1 race weekend live.

Sky will also be showing continued darts action throughout the Summer with exclusive coverage of the World Cup of Darts and the World Matchplay, two of the biggest tournaments on the darts calendar.
In golf, there will be continued live coverage of the Masters, exclusive live coverage of the US Open and PGA Championship, the return of the Ryder Cup in 2016 and exclusive live coverage of The Open in 2017. Sky recently provided live coverage of all four days of the Irish Open.

The Summer will also see Formula 1 coverage of every race weekend live from the FIA Formula One World Championship while exclusive live coverage of international and domestic cricket includes The Ashes series in 2015 and again in 2017.

Sky will also be showing exclusive live coverage of the remainder of the Rugby League 2015 season including the play-offs and Grand Final in October, plus the entire 2016 season – not forgetting the Magic Weekend in May 2016.

In NFL, Sky Sports viewers are able to enjoy over 80 live fixtures a season, including up to five games each week of the regular season, the playoffs and Super Bowl. There will also be continued tennis coverage from the ATP World Tour Masters, ATP World Tour, Barclays ATP World Tour Finals and the US Open.

Over 200 soccer matches from the English domestic league include:

 

  • 116 live Barclays Premier League matches
  • More action from the Sky Bet Football League with 112 matches including 37 more from the Championship

 

Sky will also be showing international qualifiers featuring Home Nations and Republic of Ireland, the Capital One Cup, SPFL, the Scottish Cup and hundreds of new football matches from around Europe including La Liga, Copa Del Rey and Eredivisie.
