Poachers launches soda in a can

Poachers launches three award-winning Irish-made sodas in cans, offering a sustainable, lower-sugar choice now available nationwide

The three new Poachers flavours are Ginger Beer, Lemon Soda and Grapefruit Soda

Irish premium drinks company Poachers has launched three of its award winning sodas in their first ever can. Made sustainably in Ireland using local ingredients, Poachers are a lower sugar soda choice for the modern Irish consumer.

Poachers Soda cans are now widely available in Dunnes nationwide along with a host of other retailers. Poachers are also delighted to announce the recent win at The Great Taste Awards for both their Grapefruit and Lemon Sodas.

The three new Poachers Sodas available in 250ml cans are Grapefruit Soda, featuring Achill Island sea salt, Lemon Soda –  with lemon and Irish mint from County Wexford and Ginger Beer – a spicy edition made with organic ginger, lime zest, Irish apples and Irish chilli grown in Co. Galway.

Poachers has already built a loyal fan base with its range of flavour focused drinks in vibrant, stylish packaging. Customers who have sampled the range in bars, restaurants and hotels can now enjoy them at home.

“We are so excited to reach the Irish retail customer with our delicious sodas. Poachers was inspired by a love for our island’s native ingredients and we were the first producers of premium sodas featuring unique Irish ingredients made sustainably in this country. It’s great to expand our range into retail and food service,” says Brendan Colbert, founder of Poachers.

The new cans are designed in the iconic Poachers packaging with striking abstract patterns. Poachers Soda cans are sold individually for RRP €2.35 each. Retail outlets include Dunnes (nationwide), Avoca, WH Smith, Donnybrook Fair, O’Briens (nationwide), Mortons, Lotts & Co, Evergreen (nine stores in Galway), Nolans and Green Acres (Wexford). All Poachers products can be purchased online from www.poachersdrinks.com.
