Oscars’ line in toilet etiquette

Oscars in Christchurch, Dublin, has an interesting line on toilette etiquette outside its loos there.

In a Bart-Simpson-like take on his having to write multiple lines on the school blackboard in the opening credits, Oscars has a similar blackboard outside its loo with the repeated lines on it:

 

“I will let the seat down when I’m finished”

“I will let the seat down when I’m finished”

“I will let the seat down when I’m finished”.

 

These words replaced an earlier imprecation:

“I must not forget to wash my hands”

“I must not forget to wash my hands”

“I must not forget to wash my hands”

“I must not forget to wash my hands”.
