O’Donoghue’s 12 days of Christmas

O’Donoghues pub on Merrion Row in Dublin, in collaboration with Guinness, revealed its Christmas window display way back at the start of the festive season.

The pub dates back to 1934 and attracts Guinness fans from all around the world.

Its festive window depicted Christmas scenes in meticulous detail, with each of the 12 window panes telling a different Guinness story including a miniature snowy Guinness Gates, one of most loved scenes from the Guinness Christmas ad (it even had a working lamppost!).

As well as the gates the window included a hand-tied ‘Christmas tree’ using barley and a miniature replica Molly Malone statue, another scene from the iconic Guinness Christmas ad.
