New PSA Chief Executive
The Minister for Justice and Equality Frances Fitzgerald TD has appointed Paul Scallan as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Private Security Authority.
Paul succeeds Geraldine Larkin, the PSA’s first Chief Executive, who joined the Irish Greyhound Board as Chief Executive last year. Paul has over 30 years’ experience in the Public Sector having previously worked in a number of Government Departments including the Department of Social Protection and the Revenue Commissioners.
For the past seven years he has been head of the PSA’s Contractor Division. As Chief Executive, Paul will be driving the PSA’s Strategic Plan with the aim of completing its regulatory mandate in all sectors.
