New LVA Chairman chosen

A new Licensed Vintners Association Chairman, Tom O’Brien, has been appointed to replace David Madigan who stood down from the LVA post just before Christmas following a decision by the Madigan Group to operate a Dublin pub, Clarke’s of Ringsend, on behalf of the Receiver.

Former LVA Chairman Eamonn McCormack will assume the role of Vice Chairman, helping Tom out in the interim until a new Vice Chairman can be chosen, possibly by May. Tom has been the long-time propietor of the Ferryman pub in Dublin’s Sir John Rogerson’s Quay.
