Irish beer market worth €2.73 billion

The Irish beer market generated total revenues of €2.73 billion or $3.6 billion in 2010, representing a Compound Annual Rate of Change of minus 2.6 per cent for the period spanning 2006-2010, according to Beer in Ireland, a new report from Research and Markets.

It reports, “Ales, stouts & bitters (sic) sales proved the most lucrative for the Irish beer market in 2010, generating total revenues of $1.4 billion (€1.1 billion), equivalent to 38.8 per cent of the market’s overall value.?
