Intrepid ignites bold strategy

2018 will be a landmark one for Intrepid Spirits as the company announces significant investment in the growth and development of its global beverage portfolio in Ireland.

Committed to bringing innovative and re-surging brands to the marketplace, Intrepid Spirits now has a global distribution with offices in Dublin, San Francisco, Chicago, Medellin and Shanghai.

After success in several international markets, the independently-owned company has activated a multi-phase marketing and distribution strategy that will include an Irish sales team, local market support, partnerships, comprehensive public relations campaigns and multi-media advertising.

Led by a team of industry veterans, Intrepid Spirits has been quietly making waves in Asia and the US for the last five years. Though they may not yet be a household name in Ireland, Intrepid is a significant exporter of spirits from Ireland and with Cocalero Clásico, it’s responsible for the most successful release of a foreign spirits brand in Japan in the last 20 years.

The current portfolio consists of three expressions of Egan’s Irish Whiskey (with another SKU being added this year), Mad March Hare Premium Irish Poitín and the botanical spirit Cocalero Clásico – just beginning its soft launch in Ireland this Summer.
