HI’s new Finance Director Conor Hyland

Conor Hyland has been made Finance Director at Heineken Ireland.

Heineken Ireland has appointed Conor Hyland as Finance Director.  Formerly Finance Commerce Business Controller at the company Conor has 25 years’ experience in Finance.

He started his career at KPMG in various accounting and auditing positions and joined Heineken Ireland in 1996 as a Financial Accountant, moving up to Finance Business Support Manager in 2003 and Finance Commerce Controller in 2013.

Most recently, Conor lead the finance integration of the Beamish & Crawford business following its acquisition by Heineken NV. He also played a lead role in the implementation of topline growth initiatives for the company including innovations such as Heineken’s recently-launched cider Orchard Thieves.

Conor replaces Pablo Pomares and who’s currently finalising his next move within Heineken. A native of Cork, Conor holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Cork and is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
