Dublin’s pub scene celebrates victory with four pubs winning big at Irish Pub Awards 2023

Four Dublin pubs have secured top honours as regional winners of the Irish Pub Awards 2023. This annual event celebrates outstanding pubs across the nation in nine categories, the winner of the Irish Pub of the Year is to be announced at the Gala Awards in November.

The Belfry in Stoneybatter was recognised as the most innovative pub, showcasing creativity and forward-thinking hospitality. Brady’s of Shankill crowned the best local pub award, known for being a beloved community hub. Murray’s Bar is celebrated as the best tourist pub, known for warmly welcoming visitors. The Merrion Inn was honoured as the best food pub.

While these categories have already been awarded, several other categories are yet to announce their winners.

The Irish Pub of the Year award will honour the establishment that, in the judges’ opinion, has shown excellence in innovation, creativity, ambiance, operational excellence, and customer service. Dublin’s vibrant pub scene continues to shine brightly, and these regional winners are a testament to the city’s rich pub culture.
