Deasy’s Harbour Bar added to Michelin Guide 2013

Deasy’s Harbour Bar and Seafood Restaurant in Clonakilty has been included in the Michelin Eating Out In Pubs Guide 2013 for the first time.

The guide, which covers the best good food pubs in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, has awarded the West Cork pub a Bib Gourmand for providing value-for-money under €40 for three courses.

There are now 24 Irish pubs included in the Guide.

“The standard of pub cooking just keeps getting better and better,” stated Rebecca Burr, the Guide’s Editor, “Pubs are often the heartbeat of the local community and it’s been exciting to see that more and more of them are specialising in their own regional ingredients.”
