Coca-Cola’s new Country Manager

Petre Șandru has been appointed Country Manager of Coca-Cola Ireland, replacing Aedamar Howlett who left to take up the post of Marketing Director of Coca-Cola’s UK and Irish operations.

Petre has 12 years of experience within Coca-Cola, initially as Brand Manager before moving on to become Commercial Director for Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Albania and later Country Manager for Romania & Moldova. In this latter role, Petre won the People Leader of the Year award in the Central and Eastern Europe Business Unit.

A graduate of Polytechnic University in Bucharest, he also has a diploma from the New York Institute of Professional Photography – photography is one of his passions.

In his role Petre will lead the Irish team as it supports the growth of each brand in the Coca-Cola portfolio by developing and implementing well-defined business strategies. He’ll also work closely with the company’s bottling partner Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company.
