Bushmills Irish Whiskey has launched Bushmills Red Bush

At 40% it’s the newest addition to the range of malt-rich blended whiskeys. Matured in first-fill, medium-char bourbon casks for a delicate, exceptionally smooth and balanced flavour, the liquid appeals to both bourbon enthusiasts and those new to Irish whiskey.

The highly-anticipated release is the first new expression from The Old Bushmills Distillery for the domestic market in nearly five years.

A smooth blend of triple-distilled Irish single malt and fine Irish grain whiskey, on the nose the amber spirit offers intense aromas of toasted oak and vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied with hints of caramel and nutty flavours. It’s a balanced, accessible Irish whiskey, drawing new consumers to the character and flavour profile unique to Bushmills Irish Whiskey.

As the Irish whiskey category has escalated in popularity, consumer demand has increased for a relevant and versatile whiskey.

This expression delivers a great, effortless taste neat but also works perfectly as a long serve with a range of mixers like soda, cola or ginger ale. The signature serve however will be the Red & White, made using one part Red Bush and three parts white lemonade, poured over ice and garnished with a wedge of lime.
