Beyond Bordeaux and Burgundy – French producers head to Dublin
Délicieux, Ireland’s largest trade showcase dedicated to French food and wine, takes
place on 8th October 2026 at Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin
Délicieux will bring a diverse line-up of French wine producers to Dublin, giving Irish buyers the chance to discover new regions, varieties and sourcing opportunities.
French wine producers from across the country will gather at Dublin’s Smock Alley Theatre on 8 October for ‘Délicieux, the French Food and Wine Day’.
The Business France event will bring together independent estates, family domaines and larger cooperatives, offering Irish importers, distributors, retailers and hospitality buyers an opportunity to explore a broad range of French wines in one location.
For buyers looking beyond France’s better-known appellations, the line-up includes producers from regions including Bugey, Corsica and Ventoux.
From the foothills of the Alps, Domaine Monin produces certified-organic wines from varieties including Jacquère, Mondeuse and Roussanne, alongside wines from the Cru Manicle appellation.
In Corsica, L’Enclos des Anges is a small estate near Calvi where Richard and Marjorie Spurr have restored abandoned vineyards and replanted native varieties. Meanwhile, Domaine Childéric offers organic and biodynamic wines from an eight-hectare estate in the Ventoux.
Organic production is also represented by Mas des Bressades – Mas Carlot, which farms 100 hectares of certified-organic vineyards in the Rhône, and Domaine La Cendrillon, which has produced certified-organic wines in the Corbières since 2013.
Champagne and beyond
Champagne will feature prominently, with Champagne Vincent d’Astrée, a cooperative representing almost 170 winegrower families, and Champagne Premier Cru Damien-Buffet, a third-generation family estate in Sacy, among the producers attending.
The wider French sparkling category will also be represented, with Alliance Alsace showcasing Crémant and Domaine Antoine Viland presenting Crémant de Bourgogne.
More familiar regions will feature through producers including Domaine Martin from Muscadet, Burgundy’s Domaine Duchemin, Beaujolais producer Domaine Antoine Viland and Southern Rhône producer Vignerons du Castelas.
For buyers looking for scale, Univitis brings together more than 100 winegrowers farming almost 1,000 hectares across Bordeaux, Bergerac and Côtes de Duras. Compagnie des Vins d’Autrefois, meanwhile, works with around 100 partner growers across Burgundy and Beaujolais and exports to more than 70 countries.
The Languedoc is represented by Les Caves Molière, a cooperative working with around 250 winegrowers, alongside Castelmaure and Vialade & Fils.
For Irish buyers, the event offers the opportunity to compare independent estates, cooperatives and larger suppliers, while exploring lesser-known appellations and grape varieties alongside established French categories.
