Best Tourist Pub – Regional Winners

Lowrys Music & Whiskey Bar of Clifden in Galway, Mickey Finn’s Pub @ The Wicklow Brewery at Redcross in County Wicklow, P Egan’s of Moate in Westmeath, Malzards Bar of Stoneyford in Kilkenny, The Oliver Plunkett in Cork, Durty Nellys Bar & Restaurant in Bunratty castle in County Kerry and Johnnie Fox’s Pub at Glencullen in County Dublin comprise the seven Regional Award winners in the Tourist Category for this year’s Irish Pub Awards.

The Awards, in nine different categories, are being announced by the Licensed Vintners Association and the Vintners Federation of Ireland over the course of this month in advance of the Gala Awards ceremony taking place on 20th November in the RDS, Dublin.

The 63 regional winners will be showcased as best in class in their region and will receive a prize package to the value of €20,000 comprising management training and media coverage to help them develop their business. The media coverage includes a profile piece in an awards supplement in the Irish Independent on the day of the awards presentation.

Last year’s Irish Tourist Pub Award was won by The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega in Cork.
