Where’s your Personality?
It can make or break the overall experience.
Minor matters can even be forgiven if customers find themselves dealing with someone who has the right attitude.
All too often however, that extra mile that some staff take goes unnoticed.
This year’s inaugural Irish Pub Awards set out to rectify that.
Run in conjunction with the LVA and VFI the Pub Personality of the Year Award wants to recognise this effort and reward an outstanding individual in the pub who has a friendly and obliging character which contributes to the customers’ overall positive experience in the pub.
This person can be the pub owner or a member of staff and those eligible include those working in front-of -house, barpersons, chefs, waiting staff or kitchen staff.
Each pub may nominate one member to receive the award and a public vote will also contribute to the overall judging of the finalists in this category.
So if you’ve a star personality in your pub go online at www.irishpubawards.ie and nominate them for the Pub Personality of the Year Award. Tell us about them in the entry form and send your entry in before June 23rd.
You’ll soon know if they’re shortlisted so that your customers can vote for them online in July.
