Pre-tax profits down at Johnnie Fox’s
The Glencullen tourist attraction saw retained profits up 38% to €886,183 from €641,295 according to the Abridged Financial Statements for the year to 31st of March 2020.
Pre-tax profits for the year were down at Johnnie Fox’s pub from €396,588 to €262,234.
Pre-tax profits for the year were down from €396,588 to €262,234 for the pub (which witnessed a 77% increase in pre-tax profits the previous year with retained profits more than doubling from €292,966 to €641,295 for the year to 31st March 2019).
The bar also reduced its staff number by five during the year to 43 while remuneration for the two directors Tony & Geraldine McMahon, at €200,000, was up 26% on 2019’s €160,000 figure.
