Macy Gray surprised fans at a secret gig ahead of her sold out show at the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. The jazz inspired evening in Coughlan’s Bar, Cork City, gave those lucky enough to be there a real taste of what is in store for the weekend ahead. 

This year’s festival is the biggest and best yet, featuring renowned jazz artists, an expanded programme with over 100 ticketed shows, and 500 musicians from 40 countries.

Festival goers can explore diverse music venues on the Guinness Music Trail, offering something for every taste. With over 73 venues across Cork City, Douglas, and Kinsale, you’ll find ska, swing, jazz, and brass to enjoy.

Organised by the local Cork Jazz Festival Committee, the Big Fringe brings FREE impromptu jazz moments, big brass bands, and stellar European talent to Cork City streets, captivating locals and visitors with incredible live jazz.
