Irish whiskey sales to rise in UK by €31m by ’22 says Edrington-Beam Suntory UK

Irish whiskey will add another €31 million (£28.5m) to its UK sales figure from 2018 to 2022 when it will be worth €178 million (£163.9m) as the relatively limited supply situation eases, helping support such growth forecasts Edrington-Beam Suntory UK in the inaugural Edrington-Beam Suntory UK Whisky Yearbook.

Edrington-Beam Suntory UK is the sales, marketing and distribution joint venture of international spirits companies Edrington and Beam Suntory (which owns the Connemara and Kilbeggan Irish whiskey brands).

We expect both to play a greater role in shaping the wider market in the coming years.”
