Ireland’s largest spirits & cocktail event

Over 100 brands intend being present at Ireland’s largest spirits & cocktail event alongside food pairings, masterclasses & interactive cocktail competitions all under one roof.

Dublin Drinks Mixer takes place at Dublin’s National Convention Centre on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th April with one session on the Friday and two on the Saturday.

Craft spirits, drinks from Ireland and those from across the globe feature through interactive displays, tastings and a series of cocktail competitions over the two days.

Here, the trade has the opportunity to meet the faces behind iconic and artisan brands. The trade can also sip and sample an eclectic range of gins, spirits, beers and bespoke cocktails.

Renowned bartenders and mixologists are entering into different cocktail competitions – whiskey, gin and NoLo alcohol competitions – by the participating brands, to be judged by three industry experts: Jack McGarry (award-winning Bartender and co-owner of the acclaimed Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog in New York), Aoife Carrigy (Wine & Drinks Editor for Image Interiors & freelance contributor to various national and international publications) and Luke Crowley-Holland (Bar Manager and Mixologist at the Celtic Whiskey Bar & Larder in Killarney).

Each competition winner receives a prize up to the value of €750.

Following the success of Whiskey Live Dublin and Gin Experience Dublin, the Celtic Whiskey Shop is organising the Dublin Drinks Mixer event at which at least €10 from every ticket along with money raised from a raffle during the event will be donated to charity partner DEBRA Ireland for people suffering from skin disorders.

Tickets are €40+Booking Fee and are available from www.dublindrinksmixer.com or for €40 directly from the Celtic Whiskey Shop on Dawson Street, Dublin 2. Tickets for masterclasses will also be available online soon.

  • The next issue of Drinks Industry Ireland magazine will carry a special Industry Report on the Mixers Market; contact Ian Mulvaney on 01-2947766 or Mark Morgan on 01-2947767 to get involved in it.
