Heineken has announced that chief executive officer Dolf van den Brink will step down from his role in 2026, marking the end of a period characterised by significant transformation and volatility in the global beer market.

Van den Brink has led the Dutch brewing giant since 2020, steering the business through the disruption of the pandemic, ongoing political uncertainty, inflationary pressures and shifting consumer demand.
