Dunville’s wins Ireland’s Best Whiskey title for the third time

Dunville’s 21-Year-Old Palo Cortado Sherry Cask Finish Whiskey was named Ireland’s best whiskey for the second consecutive year, making it three overall wins in the past four years for The Spirit of Belfast, which also received the winner’s trophy in 2024 and 2022.
The overall award is one of nine wins for The Echlinville Distillery at Irish Whiskey’s most prestigious awards evening.
The County Down family-owned distillery is home to the iconic Dunville’s Irish Whiskey brand.
It was the big winner of the night, which saw the cream of Ireland’s whiskey industry celebrate the sector’s most successful brands and distilleries.

“The Irish Whiskey Awards are particularly special to us as they are completely blind tasted, non-profit and judged by members of whiskey clubs and societies the length and breadth of Ireland.
“It is a huge honour to receive this award from our colleagues within the Irish whiskey family – it’s peer recognition and the highest level.”
