Coca-Cola HBC expands with acquisition of BDS Vending

The acquisition strengthens Coca-Cola HBC’s route-to-market strategy, adding 2,000 vending machines to its portfolio

Coca-Cola HBC Ireland & Northern Ireland has completed the acquisition of BDS Vending Solutions Ltd.

BDS Vending, founded in 1993, is a well-established food and drink vending services business in Ireland, with a fleet of approximately 2,000 vending machines.

Route-to-market

This transaction is part of Coca-Cola HBC’s strategy to enhance its route-to-market and direct-to-consumer capabilities and will provide new opportunities across its well-rounded snacks, cold and hot beverage portfolio.

The Proposed Transaction was approved by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) in the Republic of Ireland on 12 February 2025.

The official close of the acquisition took place on Friday 28 February.

Consumer experience
