Known for their O’Hara’s beer range and Falling Apple craft ciders, Carlow Brewing Company continues to demonstrate their commitment to quality, innovation and evolving consumer tastes with the release of two exciting innovations.
Founded by Seamus and Kay O’Hara in 1996, Carlow Brewing Company has been at the forefront of Ireland’s craft beer movement for three decades.
From its base in County Carlow, in the heart of Ireland’s traditional malt and hop-growing “Barrow Valley” region, the family-owned brewery has built a reputation for brewing distinctive, award-winning beers that combine traditional brewing expertise with a spirit of innovation.
To mark this important milestone, they are launching two new additions to their portfolio, with an exclusive first taste for consumers at Taste of Dublin:
• O’Hara’s Non Alc IPA: The first Non-Alcoholic beer in the O’Hara’s range, offering consumers quality, flavour and character in a non-alcoholic format.
• Bohem Gluten-Free Fruited Lagers: a range of three flavoured lagers (Blood Orange, Lemon and Peach) developed in response to growing consumer demand for more inclusive and accessible beer choices that don’t compromise on taste.
The launches represent an exciting expansion of the Carlow Brewing Company portfolio, creating new opportunities for consumers to enjoy the quality and character for which the brewery is known.
“Reaching 30 years in business is a significant milestone for any independent brewery,” said Seamus O’Hara, founder of Carlow Brewing Company.
“Since 1996, our focus has been on brewing beers with authenticity, character, flavour, and quality.
“We have seen a lot of change over the past three decades, but while consumer tastes continue to evolve, our commitment to innovation remains as strong as ever.
“These new launches are an exciting part of our next chapter and demonstrate our ambition to ensure our beers can be enjoyed by an even broader audience.”
The new beers will be available to consumers at the O’Hara’s Craft Beer Village at Taste of Dublin (11-14 June, Merrion Square).
As Ireland’s premier food and drink festival, Taste of Dublin brings together leading producers, chefs and brands with consumers, making it the ideal platform to celebrate both the brewery’s rich heritage and its future direction.
The anniversary celebrations highlight not only the brewery’s achievements over the past 30 years but also its ongoing investment in innovation, quality and consumer choice as it looks ahead to the future of Irish brewing.
