Boatyard hosts Attaboy cocktail icons
Boatyard Distillery is happy to announce two exclusive Irish takeovers by Attaboy, the iconic New York cocktail bar consistently ranked among The World’s 50 Best Bars.
Known for revolutionising cocktail culture with its no-menu, tailor-made drinks, Attaboy will be mixing things up this summer at The Sackville Lounge (Sunday, 24 August), the new sister bar of Bar 1661 in Dublin and Rattlebag in Belfast (Wednesday, 27 August), for two nights only.

Attaboy’s handpicked playlists will soundtrack each evening, setting the tone in two bars, two cities, over two nights
And while the team may be flying in from NYC, there’s a Fermanagh man behind the bar. Mikey Reihill, one of the Attaboy team, is from Enniskillen – the hometown of Boatyard Distillery.
“Attaboy makes the hairs stand on the back of my neck every time I visit,” says Declan McGurk, managing director of Boatyard Distillery.
“There’s something magical in that room that’s almost impossible to replicate, but we’re giving it a good go.
“To bring that magic to Ireland, and to see Mikey – a proper townie from Enniskillen – and his colleague Jon showcasing those Attaboy talents in two best-in-class bars using our own Boatyard will be something really special.”
For the Irish takeovers, Attaboy’s Mikey Reihill and Jon Nutter will be serving a curated list of classics, riffs, and signature Attaboy cocktails – including potential appearances of legendary serves like the Paper Plane and the Penicillin.
While Attaboy is renowned for its no menu approach, the team is leaning into a short, high-impact menu for the Irish events – expect an Attaboy take on a Boatyard Double Gin Martini front and centre.
Attaboy’s handpicked playlists will soundtrack each evening, setting the tone in two bars, two cities, over two nights.
Two nights of world-class cocktails, and a collaborative celebration by Attaboy and Boatyard Distillery with a strong Fermanagh accent.
