The 2023 Listowel Food Fair celebrates its 28th year from 9-13 November 2023.

Weekend events this year include an opening Celebratory Award Banquet, the Listowel Artisan Farmers Market, a series of seminars and workshops on topical food production issues, Food & Craft Hall and a Live Jazz Sunday Lunch to finish at the Listowel Arms Hotel.

Jimmy Deenihan, chairman, Listowel Food Fair and former Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture for Food and Rural Development, said: “We introduced the ‘Listowel Food Fair Food Book of the Year Award’ in 2008, in recognition of Listowel’s long literary and food production tradition. Mark Moriarty’s debut book has been selected by our judging panel because of its creative and accessible recipes, its design and photography and its emphasis on traditional ingredients with a modern application. ‘Flavour – Everyday Food Made Exceptional’ is a wonderful publication and I would like to congratulate Mark Moriarty on this great achievement.”
