Commissioned by Tullamore D.E.W. from Irish sculptor John Coll, the sculpture was developed in partnership with the Irish Wolfhound Club of Ireland to ensure an accurate representation of the breed.

The sculpture was unveiled by Coll alongside John Quinn, Global ambassador to Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery, with Irish Wolfhound Oisín, who sat for the piece, also present.

The Irish Wolfhound has been closely associated with Tullamore D.E.W. since it first appeared on the whiskey bottle in the 1950s.

The brand says the symbol reflects its legacy of loyalty, friendship and strength.

The new sculpture is now permanently located at the entrance to the distillery experience, providing a new photo opportunity for visitors before they begin their tour.

Distillery tours are available from €49 and are open to visitors aged 18 and over.
