Brickyard celebrates 10 year anniversary with host of events

South Dublin’s popular gastropub, Brickyard, is celebrating 10 years in Dundrum with a month long line up of specially created events, running all throughout September, in celebration of the big milestone.
Rather than marking the milestone with a single night, Brickyard is taking over the calendar with four weekends of food, beer and celebrations, from the return of its popular ‘Wing Fest’ to a big 10th birthday bash, outdoor BBQ and the launch of its annual Bricktoberfest.
Wing Fest returns

Wing Fest will run from Thursday 10th – 13th September
First up is the return of one of Brickyard’s most popular food events, with Wing Fest running from Thursday, 10th to Sunday, 13th September.
Following a hugely successful outing earlier this summer, the Brickyard kitchen team is bringing the festival back for a special birthday edition. Guests can expect the return of much-loved favourites, including Brickyard’s duck wings and vegetarian cauliflower wings, alongside some of the most popular sauces and flavours, plus a couple of exciting new additions created especially for the occasion.
Brickyard’s Big 10th Birthday Weekend – 19th – 20th September
The centrepiece of the calendar of events arrives on Saturday, September 19th, when Brickyard marks its official 10th birthday with a huge party featuring live music, pints, cocktails and plenty of craic. The celebrations continue on Sunday, 20th September, when the kitchen moves outdoors for a daytime BBQ under the canopy. Rain or shine, the grills will be fired up throughout the day for a relaxed Sunday of BBQ food, drinks and birthday celebrations.
Bricktoberfest brings Bavaria to Dundrum – 26th September – 18th October
Rounding out the month, Bricktoberfest launches on Saturday, 26th September, with Steins, Bratwurst, a full Oktoberfest-inspired menu and a huge selection of German beers.
The annual event has become a firm favourite on the Brickyard calendar and reflects the gastropub’s longstanding passion for bringing interesting and independent beers to its customers.
A decade in Dundrum

Founders of Brickyard and best pals Simon Moore and Erwin
Brickyard was founded by best pals Simon Moore and Erwin Pollard in September 2016 alongside sister coffee shop Grindstone, with a focus on quality food, independent craft beer and produce from Irish and artisan suppliers.
Over the past decade, Brickyard has evolved alongside its customers with a major renovation in 2023 transforming the venue and bringing it closer to the founders’ original vision.
Its commitment to craft beer has remained central throughout. Brickyard resisted the financial support offered by major breweries from the outset in order to maintain its independence and has since become renowned for its extensive and constantly evolving beer selection.
That passion eventually led to Brickyard creating its own beers. After establishing a brewing label in collaboration with 57 The Headline in 2019, the range has grown to seven Brickyard beers on draught, with selected beers also available in off-licences and bars around Ireland. This year, the label enters its next chapter as Brickyard Brewing Co., with new branding launching to coincide with the 10th anniversary.
The business has also successfully expanded beyond the gastropub. Grindstone has grown from its original Dundrum location to additional coffee shops at Dublin Landings in 2024 and Bolands Mills in 2025.
