Overends Kitchen welcomes new head chef
Colin Brogan has recently been appointed as the new head chef at Overends Kitchen at Airfield Estate.

Brogan brings over two decades of experience in the fine dining and hospitality industries, both in Ireland and internationally.
In Dublin, he has worked at some of the city’s leading restaurants, including Spitalfields and the Michelin-starred Chapter One.
During his time at Spitalfields, he upheld the restaurant’s Michelin Bib Gourmand status by designing seasonal menus in collaboration with local suppliers.
Internationally, his career has taken him to renowned establishments such as 432 Park Avenue, The Restaurant, and The Chandler Hotel.
Brogan is deeply passionate about sustainability, food innovation, and maintaining the highest culinary standards, all while creating exceptional dining experiences for his guests.
He says of his new role: “I’m really excited for this next chapter at Overends Kitchen.
“Being surrounded by a 38-acre urban farm right in the heart of Dublin means we have incredible produce at our fingertips.
“Working alongside a fantastic team of gardeners, we get to bring these beautiful ingredients straight onto our menu.”
Overends Kitchen has introduced table service to the restaurant, coinciding with the launch of their new summer menu.
“We have introduced full table service to the restaurant so guests can sit and relax, take time to browse our new menu and have their orders taken and served to them,” said Brogan.
The new menu showcases the freshest produce from the farm, which is certified organic by the Irish Organic Association.
Overends Kitchen at Airfield Estate is open Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 4:30 pm.
